Free Benefits Seminars for Employers
Orlando, FL – Workable Solutions, Inc., an Orlando-based administrator of consumer driven benefit healthcare plans, is offering a series of free web-seminars designed to educate employers about consumer-driven benefit options. The class size at each webinar is limited to assure ample opportunity for discussion and questions. The webinars, entitled “Understanding Consumer-Driven Healthcare”, are designed for company executives and/or benefit managers who want to determine how these plans could benefit their company.
Consumer-driven healthcare is a term broadly used to describe an emerging portfolio of benefit designs which combine tax-advantaged savings plans with high-deductible traditional insurance (or self-funded plans). Consumer-driven plans are designed to make employees more aware of and accountable for how healthcare benefit dollars are used. “When someone else is paying the bill except for a small copayment, employees may not be as involved in their healthcare decisions and the associated costs”, says Terry McCorvie, President of Workable Solutions. “The idea behind consumer-driven healthcare is to make the employee a partner with the employer in funding the cost of care and in making smart treatment decisions.”
